KCC International

KCC is a very internationally oriented church where people from any national or cultural background are most welcome and will quickly integrate into the worship, service and fellowship life of the church.  Currently over 20 nations are represented in the church and there are regular Nations United social events with a specifically international flavour.

The International Outreach (IO) work of the church is headed up by Martyn and Gaynor Dunsford.  They have travelled extensively serving churches in various ways over the last 25 years, and more recently many others in the church have been engaged in cross cultural mission.  KCC now has many close relationships with churches and other Christian works in over 30 nations.

Down through the years KCC has become increasingly aware of its responsibility to care for the poor.  In fact, this has become a passion for us, and we have especially directed our attention towards destitute children in various parts of the world.  Our childrens charity, Care and Relief for the Young (CRY), founded in 1992, is currently supporting works in over 15 nations. 

More recently we have sought to help poor people abroad to become more self sufficient by creating opportunities for them to set up their own small businesses.  Kings Micro Enterprise Developments (KMED) has been set up to create a fund from which small business start up loans can be offered in support of such needy but appropriately entreprenuerial individuals.

KCC has also had a vision for many years to be able to offer training opportunities to internationals with the call of God on their lives to serve God, especially to extend the kingdom of God in various ways or engage in international mission.  A house near the church called 'Glenbourne' has been purchased to accommodate potential trainees, and the first six month course, 'Preparation for Mission' of our International Training Centre will start in September 2008.  This will be the first of many courses offered through our International Training Center (ITC).
