Cell is Church – the values reflect all that we want to be as a church:
- All Involved - Broader through every member ministry
- Becoming Disciples - Stronger through the Word of God
- Creating Community - Warmer through caring fellowship

- Encountering God - Deeper through worship and prayer
- Fulfilling the Great Commission – Further through international outreach
All Involved
We believe in every member ministry. The aim is for everyone to become involved, from breaking the ‘sound barrier’ and sharing in the group, to everybody in the church discovering and then pursuing their gifts.
Becoming Disciples
Not just knowing the Bible but applying it in an accountable way. Doers not just hearers. Supporting one another in this and building each other up.
Creating Community
Cell is a way of life and never just a meeting. Openness and honesty. Knowing and being known. Belonging, loving, serving.
Doing Evangelism
Emphasis on doing it instead of just talking about it, with ongoing, deliberate commitment to reach out. Helping everyone to be a witness - being salt and light in our families, neighbourhood and workplace. First sowing, then reaping, then keeping. Group socials and serving – fishing with a net, not a rod. Feeding into Alpha, etc.
Encountering God
"Jesus at the Centre“. When two or three gather together Jesus promises to be present – through worship, through the Word and through each other. Breaking bread together.
Fulfilling the Great Commission
Each Cell Group can focus on one of the countries we are working with – getting to know the people, praying and offering encouragement.
By pursuing these values we help one another to obey the Great Commandment and the Great Commission – to love God, to love each other and to love the lost.
Our Goal: Continuous growth through the multiplication of healthy cells
Every cell should have a vision and goal – to grow and multiply, within 2 years. Cells will have between 6 and 16 people. Leadership development is the key.
