International Outreach

KCC is committed to playing its part in fulfilling the Great Commission that the resurrected Lord jesus gave to his disciples "to go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation".

Down through the years Martyn and Gaynor Dunsford have spearheaded a growing work among the nations, together with many other folk from KCC, and in teams with other leaders, mainly from Newfrontiers churches, who have travelled and served together with them.

Doors began to open to the nations in the early 1980's.  Martyn first visited Germany, followed by Switzerland and Austria.  Eastern Europe during the communist era became a focus of several trips and church connections were made that continued after the collapse of communism especially in the Russian speaking world.

God was clearly leading us to work in poor and oppressed regions.  In fact we became massively impressed by God's heart for the poor and this has been a major characteristic of our work among the nations.  This continued in various African nations and into China and South East Asia and the Middle East.  The work continues to grow as God leads us around the world. 

Our aim is to extend the kingdom of God internationally as God leads and enables through:-

• preaching the gospel
• teaching the word of God and training up leaders
• establishing new curches on strong foundations
• developing friendly and supportive relationships with church leaders abroad and other ministries
• raising up apostolic teams to plant more churches in their own nations and beyond
• to provide facilities and equipment to build church buildings etc in poorer contexts whenever possible
• to resource churches abroad to care for the poor in their localities, especially young people, mainly through CRY
• to create self sufficiency through small business start up loans through SEED
• to send teams of people on short term mission trips to begin to engage with world mission
• to send and support people who go long term to serve God in the nations
• to encourage friendships and visiting opportunities between KCC members and those of churches in other nations to promote awareness of the people of God worldwide.
