Application Process for Preparation for Mission
|
A church we support overseas
|
We welcome applications from people of any nationality.
Our application process has 3 stages:
Stage 1: Application - You will need to fill out an application form which asks for various other pieces of information needed. There will also be a telephone interview which will be arranged once the written application form has been received.
For applicants from outside the UK an English test will need to be taken to ensure that you will be able to understand the teaching that will be given in English.
Stage 2: Once the application criteria has been met, we will let you know whether you have been accepted. For applicants coming from outside the EU you will need a student visitor visa which we will give you more information about.
Stage 3: This will be completed once you arrive at the College, by verifying your passport, educational qualifications and visa details along with your return flight details.
Stage 1 can take up to 4 weeks from the point we receive a completed application form to when we can confirm that you have been accepted. This is an estimated time and is affected by how long it takes for references to come through as well as how much information is missing from the application form.
Please give plenty of time sending us your application form before the course starts to ensure that any problems can be solved well in advance of the course starting. We have also learnt that it can take a long time for visas to be approved.
For the next course starting in September 2011, applications must be received and then any required visas confirmed by 29th July 2011.
Please now read the Entry Requirements page which has links to all the
necessary application forms and tests.
If you have any questions at all, or would like some help with any aspects of this application process, please feel free to contact the Director of Studies, Dr Nigel Paterson, at nigel.paterson@kcc.uk.net
