Vision
At KCC we're passionate to see university students impacted by the Gospel and become followers of Jesus. We also want to see students getting involved in local church, where they can grow as a believer and be equipped to play their part in advancing the Kingdom of God, both on the campus and in the city. We believe that students are an integral part of the church, not a separate group, and have a heart to see them involved in the church community through cell groups, serving, 18-30's events and much more. We work alongside Newfrontiers and you can find more about the bigger picture and wider vision of student work on their site.
Getting involved
Our heart is to see students getting involved in their local church and there is so much you can do to play your part at KCC. A great way to get involved is by coming along to one of our midweek Cell Groups, where you can build relationships and journey together in mission. We also encourage students to serve in the church, so if you love working with kids, young people, or the elderly, want to be involved in the worship team, on PA or even baking cakes, there is plenty to get your teeth stuck into.
How we help
There is plenty of stuff on to equip students and help them play their part in church life. We drive a student bus to our morning meetings, offer student lunches from time to time, run introduction courses for students and will put you in touch with a discipler. |
